Rules

Carthage Tang Soo Do Class Rules

1. All students will bow upon entering and exiting the studio(do jang) at all times.
2. All students will address the instructors and all other black belts by Mr. or Mrs. with last name, or by sir or mam. No exceptions
3. There will be no so called horseplay, roughhousing, or running out of control.
4. All students will enter the studio with very quiet talking only.
5. When the class starts all talking will stop and all focus will be to the instructor.
6. All students are expected to visit the restrooms prior to class.
7. Tardiness will be considered lack of discipline and will delay advancement.
8. All questions are to be presented by raising of a hand and wait until acknowledged before talking or see the instructors after class.
9. No food, drinks, toys, or other things not a part of martial arts will be allowed in the studio(Do Jang).
10.No matter who is instructing the class they are to be treated with the very utmost respect and obedience.
11.Never ask to be tested, or when a test will be scheduled, or if you have passed a test, the instructor will inform you of these things as promptly as required.
12.No jewelry in the studio for safety reasons.
13.New students will wear shorts, or loose fitting athletic pants with a tee shirt until the purchase of a uniform.
14.Absolutely no cursing, foul language or obscene gestures will be tolerated by anyone.
15.Everyone will treat everyone else with respect at all times.
16.All conflicts or concerns will be handled through the instructor only.
